Many students often ask why teachers assign homework. It is because it is true that practice makes perfect. They need the practice problems, worksheets, games, examples, and tests. There are many different ways to go about it, but the more they practice the more it is encoded into their brain. This makes them more able to use it in the future. That is the answer to why teacher assigns homework and do things over and over. We just want them to remember.
